The sparkling sci-fi pop Star Finder EP invites listeners to travel into the imaginary landscapes where they reunite with the anticipation of childhood dreams. Star Finder is the debut release by Hanky Family, a duo of Pee Gee and Mukluk joined by guest bass player Mole. Hanky Family blends the sweetness of children’s songs and the otherworldliness of BBC Radiophonic electronic music following the path of groups like Der Plan, Die Welttraumforscher and Max Goldt. Mastered by Steve Silverstein (Christmas Decorations / Wodger.)

PeeGee is an alias of Pat Gubler, a New York multi-instrumentalist who is also known as P.G. Six. In addition to his solo works, he has been in Tower Recordings and Metal Mountains, and is currently active in Garcia Peoples. His latest release is Murmurs & Whispers on Drag City (2023).

Mukluk is an alias of Mayuko Fujino, a visual artist from Japan currently based in the Hudson Valley, NY. Her dreamy and humorous paintings of rabbits playing modular synthesizers and other musical instruments have been featured by ARP Archives and MATRIXSYNTH. She is a radio programmer at Wave Farm's WGXC, and formerly did a freeform show on WFMU in New Jersey.
